How can I connect my Blu-ray to the Internet?

How to connect Sony Bluray DVD player with Internet streaming to Comcast cable?

  • Currently cable is connected to cable box, and cable box to TV. Non Internet DVD player is connected to TV directly via HMDI cable.

  • Answer:

First off you must already have internet service, then you need a router you connect the DVD player either wireless if its capable of that or using a Ethernet cable Cat 5 or cat 6 preferably cat 6..then you must locate the Blu ray on the network using a computer, and enable it..the Blu ray must be connected to the blu ray TV through HDMI turn on Blu ray use the blu ray guide on the TV to rifle through the menu to the desired location...the DVD will only be able to connect to a limited number of locations on the Internet, because it does not have a browser.
