What is a good lamp-free projector?

I bought a aaxa micro projector standard version a little over a year ago brand new on eBay.?

  • I bought your aaxa micro projector standard version a little over a year ago brand new on eBay. I have only watched about 6 movie on it through this time on an sd card, but recently i lent it to my cousin and he used the rca cables to hook the projector up to his laptop to watch some movies. He later reported to me that he was watching a movie and the picture faded to a blue tint. He said he turned it off quickly and hasn't turned it on since (because he's scared he broke my $300 projector which I clearly should have waited to buy the newest version M1 ultimate). I still have to get the projector back from him and see whats going on. But, what should I do, is my projector broken? Is there any place in Canada I can get it repaired if it is indeed broken. Could this maybe be because of the way he connected the laptop to the projector, and could this possibly be a one time thing. What do u think. Thanks, p.s. I don't have a warranty on this projector.

  • Answer:

To be honest, this would require more technical expertise than we here at YA would be able to answer. Your best bet is to discuss this issue directly with the manufacturer. On most computer accessories, there is usually a 1 year limited warranty so if you act fast, you may be able to get it repaired fast under warranty. Their contact information is listed here: http://www.aaxatech.com/support/ All the best!
