Can you have cable stations without having cable?

Can I record music from my Cable TV music stations???

  • I have Comcast Cable TV in Florida. With the premium subscriptions I get 30 music stations that play continuous music. It would be great if I could record them. If this is possible what components do I need?

  • Answer:

yes you can, the cable box has audio out conectors certainly rca (red & white). You have to connect in one of them the rca cable that fits. Then on the other end of the cable connect an adapter that transforms the rca connector into a plug & play jack (like the ones used to plug in the headsets of mp3 players cd players etc) and conect6 it to your computer where the microphone goes. Then with the right program you can capture that audio into wav or mp3 (audio files) if you are a rookie use just the windows voice recorder. Good luck
