Is is easy to connect a home cinema system to my PS3?

Can i connect any old cheap home cinema system to my ps3?

    Majority of them home theater in a box does not offer you any inputs. They are mainly designed for you to watch a dvd or blu ray disc movies with surround sound. Look and see if the system has an optical audio input or an rca. Optical will provide you a surround sound while the rca only in stereo. If you do not have one, then you are not going to be able to do this at all. If it has, then you connect the PS3 directly to the tv using HDMI cable and then connect an optical audio cable from the tv to the surround system. Hope this will help you out.
