How can I get my computer to play sound through the other speakers of my home theater system?
-
It is currently hooked up to my home theater system by a fiber optic cable and plays great through the front two speakers, but the sub, center, and back L and R do not have any sound. I tested the speakers and they are on and working, but the computer isn't sending the signal I guess? Halpppp.

Answer:
If you want signals to feed those inputs you'll need a sound card that supports them. Or, you might be able to switch your amplifier to feed a synthesized version of those signals to those speakers.

You do not have your computer set to play out surround sound, Or the audio you are playing is only for a Stereo setup. You can try changing your settings (It varies per operating system- Google it), and then try setting your computer to synthesize the sound.
