Should I get an Ipod Touch or a ps3 slim 120gb?

  • You see, for my birthday I've narrowed it down to these two items. I can either get an Ipod touch 4th generation or a ps3 slim 120 gb. I can't get both because that is crazy expensive. I have really wanted the Ipod touch, but now when I think about it I have nothing to do when my friends come over. I don't have any good teen games for Wii besides one Call Of Duty game. Please help me.

If you want access to thousands of apps, i would go with the ipod touch. Plus included is iTunes. However, if you want a gaming system then go with the ps3. They are so different it's hard to say. PS3 is more multiplayer compatible than iPod touch. however, if you get the 4G iPod touch, you can use features such as facetime as well. You decide.

Well personally I would advise against a ps3. If you were going to get any sort of gaming device, Xbox 360 is the way to go. But it really comes down to your situation. You have a wii, which is somewhat comparable to a ps3, do you own any other devices similar to a the ipod touch? Like a smartphone that serves similar purposes?

PS3, bluray movies, games, media player, free online multiplayer. An ipod touch might seem neat, but once you leave home and take it places, unless you have a free wifi connection, you're basically going to wish you had an iphone instead. PS3 is a great system to get right now as developers are just beginning to tap the full power of the hardware. This means that in the next 2-3 years we're going to get some of the best games out of this console. For the people recommending Xbox, what they don't tell you is that they've had RROD issues, I haven't met a single person that didn't have RROD hit them, its a terrible console choice. The PS3 on the other hand has the lowest failure rate and is very reliable. Hope this helps, good luck.

Ipod touch is basically a music player, web search, and games. Cellphones have lot of applications. Cellphones nowadays have all the features that is basically in ipod touch, almost*. I would suggest that you get ps3. That is my opinion.
