How to connect Dish Tru HD STB through Denon 1610 AVR with HDMI cable?
-
i have just replaced my old Dish STB with Dish Tru HD. My earlier STB was connected thru my Denon1610 receiver with RCA cables. My AVR is connected to my HD TV thru HDMI. However when I connect my Dish Tru HD STB to AVR with HDMI I get nothing. It seems that The AVR is not even sensing anything thru HDMI. When I connect the STB to TV thru same HDMI cable I see the signal. So the HDMI cable is OK. STB is working fine with RCA cables. The manual with STB suggests that I connect my TV with STB using HDMI and STB to AVR using optical cable. Why is the HDMI thru AVR not working? Please help.
