How To burn Dvd+r to Dvd-r?

• I recently recived a dvd+r disc my friend sent me but when i play it on my dvd player the disc does not play. i know for a fact that my dvd player plays dvd-r discs formats. i wanna know how can i burn a dvd+r to a dvd-r so i can watch it on my dvd player. anybody know?

  hello the reason the disc wont play is not the disc or your dvd player tell your friend in order for disk to play on most all dvd players the disk needs to be finalized or closed out hope this helps good luck give it back to them askk them to finalize it good luck!!!!!!!!!!!
