Comcast Internet Help Please?
-
We got Comcast about a year ago and since then, we haven't been able to have more than one computer on at a time. In other words, we can only have one computer on. I want to know if there's something I can do at home to fix it or if we should just call Comcast. It is wireless Internet so we have a router if that might be a problem, I just don't know. Help please?

Answer:
Get a separate cable modem and wireless router. Have the router use NAT and DHCP.

Changing your wireless router wouldn't hurt. You should be able to get more than one PC on at a time. I have Verizon FiOS (LOVE IT!) and have 1 wired PC and 4 wireless laptops running at the same time. There are 4 laptops because the kids are home from college.
