Which t.v.s have netflix already installed in them?

What is the most cost efficient way to stream one Netflix subscription to 3 TVs all in the same apartment?

  • I don't want to do anything illegal (i.e. use someone else's password). I have an account. I have 3 TVs. Do I need 3 different streaming devices or just one. I have wireless internet. I know it's somehow possible with PS3 and XBoX Live (?). Are there other reliable, less expensive devices that don't double as gaming systems? I want to bring up Netflix on any of my 3 TVs. Do I need a special remote? Does that remote come with the TVs or the streaming devices?

  • Answer:

if you don't have gaming consoles, don't want to connect computers to the tv's, and the tv's do not have the netflix app built in, then the cheapest way would be to either buy a bluray player with the netflix application or buy a roku box.

You can use 1 account to stream to multiple devices, for now. Netflix mentioned it may charge additional fees for this later on, but for now, 1 account on multiple devices is not a problem. The Roku works with Netflix and is $60. (it also does other things too, so it's actually a good deal.) It comes with a remote to let you browse available media from Netflix and other sites, or from your PC(s). Another device is the Popcorn Hour. It's about $100. If you want each TV able to watch a different show/movie from Netflix at once you will need 3 separate devices. You should probably also look into upgrading your internet connection since each stream will need 2-3Mbps each for a stable HD signal.
