How do I get my HDD Sony remote control to work again?
-
I accidentally set my Sony RDR-HX720 remote control setting to DVD 1 while I was reconfiguring various settings on it, and found out to my horror that the damn remote effectively died! - with no way to access the menu to reset it back to it's default setting of DVD 3. An unforgivable oversight/glitch by Sony. DVD 1 and 2 settings are so that you can use similar Sony devices independently in the same room without the need for separate remote controls. Does anyone know how I can get it to work again? I can't use the HDD recorder now because virtually all the functions are accessed via the remote control. Any help would be deeply appreciated. Answer:
Buying a new remote is the best idea. I costs, but it serves.
