  You need to look in the code list for the remote (Philips in your case). They will list the brands of TVs and other equipment the code library on the remote supports, including Sanyo (a major brand, as things are), and the respective codes for that brand (they usually do not list specific device models). Those codes are generally specific to that brand of remote, if not model.
