How can I transfer video from my Motorola DVR to my computer?

    Jigsaw HC is correct in your case, the USB ports are not actived and are only for the purpose of connecting a USB to Ethernet/ or Wireless adapter to your home network. It will not connect directly to a PC as far I know. Try this site out, it mainly deals with DirecTV Tivo's and Tivo brand DVR's and the software to enable them to do just what you are looking for. But the site below is expanding their knowledge base for ALL dvr's. Unless it is a supported feature (which I do not believe it is) you would not be able to. The USB ports on DVRs are generally for wireless network adapters and not for hooking to a computer.
