How to watch netflix through tv on iphone?

I bought the radio shack gigaware iphone dock today and was told i would be able to use it to watch movies on netflix from my phone through my tv but it won't!!!! It will let me watch youtube videos but when using the netflix app it will only let me hear the movie but won't let me see it...anybody know what the prob is?? I have followed the instructions but am having no luck.

Last time I checked, you have to watch netflix on the actual device. While you can get YouTube off the phone and on to the TV, you can't do that with many other apps. I too want to do that. Download movies to my iPod Touch and use my special cable to watch them on the Hotel TV for example. A 32" wide screen hotel TV would be drastically preferable to the ipod screen. So far, no go for a number of aps.
