Can I setup a HD PVR with no HD cables from the xbox or with a HDMI?
-
I have a small tv so there is no hd green white yellow for the xbox cables to go in is there a way to use HDMI or some kind of adaptor?
-
Answer:
If your TV has no HD inputs, it is not an HD TV, so there is nothing you can do. Use the xbox output adaptor that best matches the capabilities of your TV.

Your TV isn't HD, so you'll have to use the standard AV cables to connect your equipment to the TV. HD PVRs still have standard AV-outputs, so you can use those to connect them to your TV. You won't get a HD picture, of course, but at least you can use the PVR. Tip: Since you can't watch shows in HD anyways, tell the PVR to only record on non-HD channels. HD shows use up a lot of hard drive space, so recording in non-HD allows you to store more shows.
