Is it possible to receive dish network programming on my pc?

Does Dish Network on Demand Offer free Kid's programming?

  • Hello, I was considering switching to Dish Network from Comcast and was just wondering if Dish Network on Demand offers all the free programming and kid's programming that the cable company does? For instance, do they offer free kid's programming like shows from NickJr such as Dora the Explorer and Max and Ruby? Thanks, Ron

  • Answer:

Nope. When it comes to On Demand thats going to be all Comcast. Dish just cant support it. They have a weak substitute but its nothing like what you are looking for. No tvs shows just alot of b list movies. Requires a HD rcvr connected to broadband internet service.

I don't believe they do, but if the programs themselves were actually free, you wouldn't be paying nothing. For On Demand on Dish, you need a DVR. To use that DVR, you have to pay a monthly fee for the DVR service, which is $7/mo.
