How do i get blu-ray to work?

I cant get the internet to work on my bluray?

  • i have a samsung that i got from best buy, it says it has wifi on it, but it doesnt work i put in the ip adress and stuff, but than it says to put in the gateway, i dont know what that it is, so i put in the router number and it didnt work, it failed to connect our wifi is netgear and has a password, could that be the problem

  • Answer:

If you have a router that supports WiFi, normally you should only have to enter in the information for the WiFi - like your SSID, and WEP or WPA key if you're using one. The router should take care of configuring your player's IP address, gateway and all that stuff.

>our wifi is netgear and has a password, could that be the problem< Yep. If you want to be able to use a wireless connection, you need to know how to log onto your gateway, router, etc. You need to know the password to log onto the device, you need to know the pass phrase for security, the SSID, etc. If you don't know this stuff, then you need to call whoever installed it and get that info from them (and write it down and keep the info this time).
