What is the easiest way to setup/connect this DVD Recorder?

my friend let me borrow a dvd recorder, and well i want to record a Clippers basketball game tomorrow thats gonna be on cable, the problem is he just let me borrow the dvd recorder itself with no video/audio cables, my question is what is the EASIEST/CHEAPEST way to connect the DVD Recorder so i can be able to record the Clippers game tomorrow? Do I have to buy one set of "audio/video" cables (i dont know much about this stuff, but its the cables that have red, white and yellow connectors) or do i have to buy two sets? and where exactly do i connect each????? the back of the dvd recorder has a thing that says "Out" with a red/yellow/white port thing for the cables, and one that says "In" with the same red/yellow/white port things (they both say Audio/Video) Do i need to buy one set of audio/video cables? or TWo and how what do i connect to what..... Thank YOu In ADvance..

You should have a coaxial input and output on the DVD recorder. Plug the coaxial cable from the wall, or cable box if using that, into the "IN" port. Then run another coaxial cable out of the "OUT" port to the TV. If you prefer, you can connect in the same direction using the other type of cables.
