How can I get help with my converter box problems?

I have my converter box conected to my tv properly and have singnal but only get channel 8.Can someone help.?

    Get a good antenna! You can't just stick a paperclip into the "F" connector and touch it with your fingertip anymore.

RESCAN for channels! I don't know your model box but google the model with words "rescan" and they answer will be there for you. Hope this helps!

Is the channel 8 coming from your TV itself? (Do you use your TV remote to change channels?) What type of converter box are you using? What type of cables are going between your TV and converter box? If you are using your TV remote to change channels, which is what I'm assuming you are doing, you need to do a scan or manually program your channels into your TV itself...otherwise it could have them locked out assuming that you do not want to watch those channels.
