How can I record Tv Shows from my Tv?

  • I'm always missing my shows and I'm wondering how I can record them? Some people say there's a DVR but i'm not sure if it will work on my tv. We have just regular Cable like how Cartoon Network is on channel 54 and nikelodeon is on channel 32. We have no tv guide either. So how can i record my shows, can you do it on a blue ray player or something. We have a square box tv too, no flat screeens, if that makes a difference. Please answer.

    You can get a DVD recorder with a tuner. I would recommend a TiVo. Get one of the HD models (which will work fine on your older TV), and you can use it for analog cable. When channels go digital, you just need to get a cablecard to get them. You could look for a uses Series2 TiVo with Product Lifetime. You will need a cable box when the channels go digital.

The DVR will only work on new models of tvs.And not only will you need a DVR it'll have to have a recording device in.If not you can try and use this . It's called At&t U-verse. You can record up to 4 shows.
