How do i record with comcast?

• iwanna record a tv show with my comcast box while i watch it so i can watch it later. Can ido that? i've googled it and just found stuff bout the DVR. Whats that? is it the big black comcast box how do i record

  The first question you need to answer is do you have a DVR or just a basic cable box? If you don't have a DVR, you can't record anything. If you have a DVR, then you can just hit the red record button on your remote whilst watching the show you want to record and it will begin recording it. Alternatively, bring up the Guide and select the show from there (let's say it starts at 9pm, move through the guide until you get to 9pm on the channel you want) then select it using the 'select' or 'go' button on your remote and a menu will come up asking you what you want to do. Use the arrow keys on the remote to move down to the record option and select that. It may ask you other questions, answer appropriately and that's it.
