Yes. This is because ALL aerials are analogue. There is no such thing as a "digital" aerial - they do not exist (except in the minds of aerial salesman).

I can't see why not, my freeview recorder is plugged into a roof ariel that has been up there for at least 10 years.

itv1 teletext has a tester for your Ariel strength to get digital reception / go to index page
Worth a try as if the signal is good it will work. If the signal is weak you may need another bigger aerial and maybe a signal booster.
