Below is the list of Optimum Online channels that I get but CHANNELS 23 AND 55 ARE EXAMPLES OF WHAT I GET THE GREY STATIC SCREEN (BLACK AND WHITE). It is very peculiar because both channel 23 and 24 are "HD" but I get "channel 24" perfectly but I get the grey static screen on Channel 23 and 55. Here is the list of Optimum Cablevision channels I amd listed to receive to give you an idea of which ones are HD and which ones are not. I have tried assigning channel 23 for instance "the hard wire way" by assigning the channel 23 via the "Assign Channel" option in Windows Media Center. http://www.optimum.com/lineup.jsp?regionId=2

It was too difficult for you to edit your post a little to make it easier to read? First, the NTSC tuner does nothing for you aany more. That was analog TV and it is gone. ATSC is digital over the air broadcast... ie the kind you get with an antenna. I don't know what you thought your link was... but it doesn't show a list of channels. Cable TV (such as http://west.optimum.com/) uses QAM modulation... not ATSC modulation... so unless this tuner is a QAM tuner, I'm surprised you are getting anything at all. I suspect the only reason that you are getting any channels at all is the coax system is faulty and that channel 24 is close enough to your location that your coax acts as an antenna.
