Which TV tuner will replace my TV?

Can DVD recorder with digitdl freeview tuner replace set top box for analouge tv to receive digital signals?

  • Answer:

I don't understand what you mean. If your intention is to record TV programs, since you already have a built-in tuner in your recorder, then record it directly without passing through your TV video output. However, if you want to play your DVD and watch it in your TV, then just plug your video output (DVD Recorder) to the TV video input RC jack. Now, if your TV doesn't have a video input-output ports, then use an RF - Raw Video Converter unit to convert the output of your DVD Player into an RF signal. Connection should be in your TV RF port.
