How to hook up my TV converter box?

TV converter box hook-up.?

• I'm hooking up converter boxes for seniors herein the Lansing Mi. area. I have not been able to make one work on a TV with only a antenna in (coax)connection on the back.I've been able only to hook up ones that have red,white&yellow RCA jacks, or S-video. How do I get the old tuner out of the loop with no switchable in-puts. Thanks

  1. Hook the antenna coax cable to the converter box video-in. 2. Then run a coax cable from the converter box video-out to the TV's video-in. 3. Set the TV to channel 3 or 4 (to match the setting on the converter box). 4. You may have to go into the menu on the converter box to set the video output to the RF port. 5. Run a channel scan on the converter box.
