How do I make my recordings on my Dish Network DVR go in a profile with my name?
-
My friend's DVR is hooked up with his sister's (a dual DVR). I have the same and him and his sister have their recordings go in profiles with their name. I was wondering how to make a profile with my name and make my recordings automatically go to this profile with my name. And then sort all the recordings by title.

Hi, I will be happy to explain how to set up a recording group which you can name anything you like. When you are in "My Recordings" on your DVR, Select on "Group". Then select "My Groups" and then you can edit the group accordingly. You can select "Edit" to add or delete programming from the group and if you select "Group Edit", then "Create Group" it will allow you to name the group whatever name you choose. I hope this helps and have a great day! Mary Catherine Brady DISH Network Customer Support
