Where can I get a Freeview HD box?

Question about freeview aerial and TV box?

  • What I ultimately want is to buy a freeview+HD box, enabling me to pause, rewind and record (HD)freeview television. My 3 yr old Sony Bravia TV comes with regular freeview, and recently I had an exterior aerial connected to it for free through some digital scheme via the local government. This gives me a range of channels, but I'm not sure if what I'm getting is freeview or some other wierd thing (because I'm no expert and nowhere does it say 'freeview'). Strangely, this television interface seems integrated into the TV- the font of the writing and general appearance matches that of the TV's menus and options etc. I'm quite confused to be honest! I just want to have the ability to pause, rewind and record the television I get with this aerial. Can I simply buy a freeview+HD box and connect it somehow?
