Cheapest way to upload VHS tapes to computer?

  • Yes, I asked this twice before, but my question keeps going to the bottom of the list due to the fact that there are hundreds of questions uploaded every day. Anyway, does anyone know the cheapest way to upload VHS tapes to a computer? No, it's not a tape that I bought from the store that has a movie on it or anything, it's just a tape I recorded my gameplay on. I don't need to put it on a DVD or anything, I just need to know how to upload it to my computer. Any help is appreciated. if you know, please tell me. Thanks. -Chris

    First, cheapest is not always the best. You don't want to get 20 years down the road to discover that your archived videos are poor quality. Anyhow, your best bet is to oursource it. Many smaller and more elite companies are very reasonably priced and offer awesome quality. Buying the equipment from Best Buy may seem like a good alternative but beware of the capture resolutions.
