What do i need to get a sky+ hd box?

i have an original sky box and a hd tv but i want to get a sky hd box, but sky are charging too much, so would it be possible if i could buy one cheaply of ebay and just plug it in like i did with my old and use it? or do i need it to be professionally installed, btw i do have a sky cnnection and card already but it is not sky plus its original, please help thanks

i just got one for £49 you just have to haggle a bit with the guy on the phone at sky, don't just take their first offer.

to correctly install sky hd you plug in all your old sky + connections into the sky hd box and get a hdmi cable that plugs into the sky hd box into the tv, you would need to buy the box from sky though because otherwise the HD channels would not work
