I have a tv with built in freeview and have a freeview recorder ,Where do i connect the aerial?
-
Do i connect the aerial to the tv or the freeview box ,i want to use the tv without the freeview box on and when i want to record i want to use the freevew recorder box.

Answer:
Connect: From the aerial wall socket to the Freeview recorder's "RF in". Then: From the Freeview recorder's "RF out" to the television's "RF in". (You will obviously need two lengths of aerial lead to do this.) This will allow you to record one Freeview channel whilst watching another. This is how my TV and recorder is set up and it works fine.

Why don't you want to use the freeview? They're going to ditch the analogue transmissions in a few years anyway.
