Comcast conversion to digital cable?

So a few weeks ago I got some black comcast digital cable box's from comcast apparently you get they are switching from wall cable to tv to wall cable to box to tv i suppose you get more channels with it what-ever. Okay so i hooked up the box and it couldn't find a signal so it wanted me to call comcast but i don't feel like it then last night a message was on the top of my screen saying my tv wasn't ready for the conversion so what do i do?

It sounds like you haven't activated the boxes. Go to http://digitalnow.comcast.com If that doesn't work, when you turn on the TV, try doing something like changing the channel on the adapter. The number to call should be right on the screen. I called them, and they fixed the problem. Sometimes activation by doing it yourself doesn't work.
