Direct TV in multiple rooms?

Direct TV, change rooms, relocate receiver?

• I have been a direct TV customer for years so I do not need to re install another dish or add another reciever. I want to relocate my receiver from one room to another. The cable runs from my dish on the roof, along the outside of the house, and then into the room. Since I want to move it to another room across the house, will I need to place a work order into direct tv so they can have a technician come out and re cable my house? Does anyone know how much it will cost?

  you can relocate this yourself and save you the trouble but since i have no idea how techno you are its up to you-they have tools to make your own coaxial cables 15.00 ratshack and the ends you need plus the length of cable you want total cost 30.00+<depends on how long of cable you need..its very simple and easy to do.dick-tv came out to install my dish and drilled into an outlet->SHOCKING<not only did he blow my breaker but he also ruined my electrical outlet and wires running to it-since the wires got rolled up on the drill bit when he hit the wire he jerked it out of the wall pulling the wire out as well so they had to tear up my wall to fish the wire back to the new outlets they bought me after a huge battle for them to replace what their service Tech tore up.so now i do it myself also you can wire your whole house if need be and put the holes where you want them to be put not where they would like to put them>SHOCKING<into an outlet if you have the insurence plan it cost nothn if you don't you will get a 50-75$ service call charge-depends on how far and how much cable they use and the splitters
