Does anyone know where I can buy a record player?

I really want a record player but besides ebay I don't know where to get one and I don't trust ebay all that much. If anyone knows of any good places to buy a record player that would be very helpful.

definitely amazon.com. and if you're a beginner to this stuff, check out the brands Music Hall, Pro-Ject, or Rega. i wouldn't go with ebay myself, since you want to be able to make sure that the needle/cartridge are good quality, not used up or worn out. if, however, you wanted to buy in person rather than online, check out some of your local thrift stores or garage sales. sometimes you can find some really nice stuff for awesome prices (although it would be used, of course).
