How to have multiple audio outputs?

How do I capture DVR to my DVD Recorder WITHOUT audio RCA outputs on the cable box?

  • I want to record from my cable box (DVR [and yes, my DVR is in my cable box]) BUT my audio output jacks are being taken up my TV. I DO NOT HAVE ANY AUDIO OUTPUTS. HOW DO I GET AUDIO AND VIDEO ON THIS ONE DISC IN SYNC? And S-Video AND the video RCA output. HELP!

  • Answer:

You'll need a splitter that is one way yet many do not like using the splitter as you loose quality because of the splitter. The other way is to play through the system you currently have and use the Output ports to go to the TV. There are splitter box setup that you connect the setup top the box then send it to the separate devices http://www.google.com/#hl=en&tbs=shop:1&&sa=X&ei=M_iwTOTmJsO88gb4gP2jCQ&ved=0CDEQBSgA&q=s+vhs+and+RCA+splitter&spell=1&fp=5a103364aa4a5ac7 I have several DVD Recorders and basically that what use to set it up, there are other ways as well if you ask you cable company for a newer box you will get more outputs to allow you to set it up differently.
