How do I remove recorded contents from my DVD+R disc?

This disc cannot be recorded?

• I finally burrowed a DVD recorder from my sisters house, i have a dvd rw disc at first it worked 2-3 times on the dvd recorder, recorded a bit to test it. then i inserted it to my computer and a big mistake i right clicked and pressed format, now the dvd recorder says this disc cannot be recorded, is there anyway i can make the disc go back to the way it was

  Re-format it using a different method for the file system It will probably be NTFS or FAT32, whatever one it did must not be compatible with the DVD recorder, so do the other one.
