  if you have an s-video out on the video card on your computer then it's simple. (that is if you also have s-video in on your tv!). s video from the computer to the television. you'll also need sound so get a head phone jack to audio cable from radio shack. now for those who have a television all the way across the room... if you cut the ends off a couple of phone cords then cut the s-video cable and match the cable colors inside the s-video cable on both ends, you can extend the s-video as far as you want. (I've done up to a hundred feet and didn't have much picture loss) also you'll have a few wires left in the phone cords to add audio... just match the cable colors on both ends and your set. i used to run power point presentations with this setup and i could stand behind the class with my laptop at my desk. also i use it now to watch netflix on my TV. works like a charm. (ps. you can get a fairly cheap video card with s-video out at walmart :) )
