What channel number is for ABC Family on DirecTV?

DirecTv remote problem???

• For a couple of months my DirecTv remote has not been working properly. Some of the buttons are not working properly, for instance ; When I try to change the channel by pressing in the number of the channel, it does not change the DirecTv it just changes the TV itself as if I pressed 'TV' and started hitting numbers. I tried pressing the satellite button then the numbers, but it still just changes the tv. Therefore, if i want to go to another channel I have to turn on the guide and look for the channel and press select. Also, it stopped changing the volume, so the volume and mute button have no effect. I have to go to the TV if i want to turn down the volume. Lastly, the 'Previous Channel' button also has no effect anymore. It's not batteries, or the other buttons wouldn't work, and it's not something I've done. Any solutions to get the remote back working properly would be GREATLY appreciated!!!!!

  If it worked for you before you may have bumped the selector on the top on the remote. Slide it back to the left so it under the the dtv logo. I hope that is it. Otherwise Best Buy sells them for $20.
