When will most TV programs be broadcasted in HD?

How can i record TV programs, videos from VCR to my PC in HD video quality?

  • What softwares and hardware are needed? Like TV tuner card? i want to record the videos in HD quality. Like videos from old VHS and discs to HD video through the TV tuner or what?

    Hello what u want too do is a tough thing because u cant convert a analog vhs copy too hd quality but it can be copied and will be ok just not hd u will need a video capture device which usually comes with the software theres a few good ones pinnacle happauge ggoogle video captue device hope this helps!!

ok where you can not get true HD it can be Near HD or slightly better then analog need a upverter device and a dvd burning Device and a HD tv tuner for your pc---take your VCR and record it with a DVD recorder once that is done put your dvd into your dvd player with the upverter device connected between your dvd player and your HD TV-tuner for your pc and record it. again its not true HD but it is now Digital format so it can make it look better it cant make the colors more vibrant than it was since it was recorded in analog
