How do I know if my computer can run the Hauppauge HD PVR?

Would a hauppauge hd pvr video recorder work for my computer?

• i was looking to buy a hauppauge hd pvr video recorder but my friend said you would need a good ram and graphics card speed or it wont work, i thought all of the work was done in the box before it was sent to your computer so there was no lag, my computer says that my processor is 560 @ 2.13GHz 2.13GHz and my memory RAM is 1.00 GB would this be good enough to support a hauppauge hd pvr video recorder? and i dont know what my graphic card speed is
