You think Dish Network will make a deal with FNG?

3 TVs on dual DISH DVR - worked, now doesn't.?

  • When my Dish Network was installed, it came with a Dual DVR/receiver, model 625. The installer was a doll and hooked up 2 TVs to the second 'spot' on the DVR so I could watch the same thing on two of my TVs, and I just purchased an extra remote. No one was ever watching the 2 second tvs at the same time, so this worked great for us. Should I assume he wasn't really suppose to do this for me? Recently we got a replacement 625 receiver and now our third TV no longer gets a signal. Has Dish done something to prevent splitting, or did we mess something up when we hooked up the new receiver? I don't think we plugged anything back in wrong, but it doesn't seem to make sense that we'd have the same model receiver and it wouldn't work like the first one did. With only 2 people here it doesn't make sense to get a whole house system. This was working perfect for what we needed. Now I don't know what to do.

  • Answer:

Somehow you missed connecting a splitter or most likely the 2d TV is not in the same channel as before. You can always buy a simple 1-to-two splitter and connect the two Tvs to the single Dish out.
