How can i connect my new PC to my old TV?

• My TV has exactly three plugs in the back of it. one yellow one white and the other is red. my PC is brand spankin new, but id like to somehow watch movies on my TV from my PC so the screen wil be bigger. please help! thanks. My PC has 3 USB. 1 LAN. and a head phone and micraphone holes. thanks. p.s. the laptop is a pavillion g7-1150us notebook PC. TV is a very old magnivox. thank you anyone with answers.

  Your laptop probably has a VGA out plug (for connecting to a monitor) which looks like this: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/92/SVGA_port.jpg/300px-SVGA_port.jpg You can buy a VGA to video adapter which will connect the above plug to the yellow plug (video in) on your TV. The above only solves the problem for video, not audio.
