Is there a DVR for over the air TV?

TV and DVR?? Some help please.?

I have a digital TV. 1. What do I need to record programs so I can watch them at a later time .... just a DVR? 2. Can a DVR work without cable or Dish? (I currently use just a regular "air" antenna - I don't have cable or Dish TV.) 3. Can I buy a TiVo recording unit - or is that something that you only get when you sign-up for cable or Dish? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!!

A TiVo works with either antenna or cable, but not satellite, at least in the current HD and Premiere models. Since all broadcast (antenna) TV is now digital you need a DVR with an ATSC tuner for over-the-air reception. That would be either the HD or Premier. The TiVo HD is now discontinued. TiVo was selling off their stock of them at $99. If they don't have any, you can usually get them used on eBay for about the same price.
