Is there any way to get out of a dish network contract?

Trying to get tv upstairs without paying for another Dish Box?

  • Okay here is the deal I have Dish Network Box downstairs which makes my tv in living room and bedroom work. Dish is such a ripoff i have 4 months left on contract but ws told if i renewed my 2 yr agreement i could lease another dual box for free. Okay well i dont want to be in another contract where i cant even add a channel (Bravo) without paying alot. I have a problem. I have 3 or 4 rooms upstairs that need to have tv. I am up all night so regular tv wont be enough I would like to have all channels as i have downstairs without paying 449. for a box and 2 yr agreement for other box to give me service in 2 rooms. Is there a way to run a cable from box downstairs to have service up here. Even if only one or two tvs had full tv and others just reg channels would be ok. Or can i get full tv on my computer upstairs somehow on all my laptops. I even have a 50.00 part that will allow me to move my computer screen on to tv but the tv's i have upstairs do not have hdmi hookup. I know about megavideo and all those i dont want to have to search for channel every time show is over. Would like to use tv guide to pick show if using on computer and still wanna know how to at least get something up here on tv's

    their is no way to watch different channels if that is what you want but as the above poster has said works great if you don't mind running wires everywhere through out your house.some people don't like the wires hanging from everywhere look.

Yep...as long as you have a DVR receiver that has the two tuners inside...because you will need the remote with the RF signal to change the channel thru the walls. But a cable splitter coming out of the receiver will split to all the TV's but all the TV's that are split will be on the same channel when you change it. The other receivers will split as well but having the IR remote will cause you to have to be in the same room with the receiver to change the channels.
