What channels will I be able to watch with the digital box converter?

How to hook up a VCR with a digital converter box?

  • I have digital cable TV that requires a digital converter box to receive most channels. My cable company provided the box. The TV must always be set to channel 3 and the program channel is controlled by turning the station on the box. How can I hook it up with a VCR so that I will be able to watch one digital channel while recording another digital channel? (I have some beam splitters and switches and cables the I can use.)

  • Answer:

well, you have to get the digital converter instrested in the VCR by telling her how strong and hansome he is. then the VCR and Digital converter will be together and happy.

If you want watch one channel and record another at the same time you will need a second converter box with a spliter on the cable side of the boxes. One box connected to the TV the other to the VCR. Both TV and VCR will be on channel 3. Select channels to be watched and recorded on the respective converter box. Have fun!!!

You need two boxes, one for watching, the other for recording, The one for recording needs to have timers you need to set, or else you need a DVR with timers and an IR blaster.
