How do you stop your DVR from recording a series?

I accidentally pressed record series instead of record show and now it always records this one show whenever its on and i need it to stop because it is taking up all the memory in my DVR and its a pain to go through and delete everything.

look for that TV show in the guide/schedule, click it and there should be an option to cancel, this should do the trick
