How is my Xbox my Dish Network receiver?
-
I have the Dish receiver that allows for one DVR receiver upstairs with the TVs downstairs to work and view the DVR recordings without a receiver. My xbox is upstairs as well and when I turn it on the TVs downstairs will no longer change channels without walking upstairs to change them. Does the wireless in the xbox affect this signal to the downstairs TVs? If the xbox is off the channels change fine.

Answer:
It can be likely the Xbox emits an RF signal which interferes with the RF signal fromt he second Dish remote.
