What's the Dish network customer service?

Dish Network, scamming one customer at a time?

  • I upgraded my service via remote & television using the menu options that Dish Network offers. I selected an upgrade to "Top 250" for 49.99. A month later I get a bill for 59.99, and when I call not only get hastled by 3 different people, but the final person that I speak to Tyler Shields, and executive, bluntly says I can either take a deal of $10 for 5 months (which took 30 minutes to get) or nothing at all stating their contract states that they can change their prices at any time, even the day after you agree to any fee. I told him it was immoral and unethical and he denied that it was. What do you think?     Dish Network does seem to be the worst provider. And the absolute worst in Customer Service. Don't give up. You deserve a refund of your money..

Are you sure the $59.99 isn't including tax? How many boxes are you renting? You know box rental is $5 mo. each. There have been arguments where big cable companies are forcing satellite companies to raise their taxes.

$49.99 may be the package. Check also for these fees Set-top box rental (about $5) PVR function (another $5) taxes. But the core package should be $49.99
