Can you use a sky box as an outdoor aerial?

Can i use freeview box with sky dish?

We are moving intoa new house. The house has a sky dish. I noticed when looking round the tennents had a white sky box which is non monthly paid. We have a freeview box at the moment, but can i hook my freeview box upto the sky dish to get freeview. What are my options with a sky dish at my new home. Thanks

No. The standards for satellite are different from terrestrial, so won't work. You need to get a Sky or Freesat receiver, or an aerial for Freeview..
