Help with TiVo please?

My Tivo is Failing, please help?

• My tivo is a series 2. I have already connected to the tivo service before. I had recenlty moved and now i am having problems. Great. The problem occurs when i try to connect to the tivo service. when it gets to the step of loading info it fails and says error So3. Why is this, now my tivo wont work because i cant even get passed the guided step portion. My tivo is worthless now. I have already looked at the kick start process, i cant get it to work. can you please help me with any advice possible, this tivo was expensive and i hope i can get it working before greys anatomy. i love that show. but really, can anybody help me? i connect to the tivo service with a wireless tivo adapter, that wasn't cheap either.

  I did a Yahoo Search for: tivo error s03 I followed the discussion in the TivoCommunity.com web site and found this information on the kick start procedure. http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?p=4695970&&#post4695970 I've never encountered this problem myself. If you are unable to go through this procedure, and it is still under warranty, call customer support. If your TiVo is out of warranty and you are unable to get kick start to resolve the problem, I am GUESSING that you might have a bad disk. If this is the case, you might look at getting a replacement hard drive from Weakknees. (Which, by the way, might greatly increase your storage). http://www.weakknees.com/ But I would not give up on trying to do the kick start or work with TiVo to resolve the issue first, before trying a new hard drive.
