How do I connect my vcr to my dvd recorder?

How do i connect my VCR to my DVD recorder?

  • i want to record all my tapes onto dvd's so how do i do this?

  • Answer:

Hi keiranobe88, Connect the output of your VHS into the input of your DVD. Connect the output of your DVD to your TV to monitor what you are recording. If your tapes were comercially recorded they will have copy guard. It is legal to make copies for your own use but you will have to bypass the copy guard. To do that you need a device like "Sima T120 GoDVD". It removes the copy guard and enhances the picture. You plug your source into it and plug it into the input of your recorder. Here is an example of one - http://www.heartlandamerica.com/browse/item.asp?PIN=54817& Another one that will work is the Digital Video Stabilizer. They work like a charm.
